Keywords for Profiles???

I want to give a Profile User, the ability to add keywords, so that Viewing Users can find their profile easier.

I was going to create a text field for the Profile User to enter keywords(with a space between each word, and allow the search plugin to look for that text field.

Is this the best way to do that, or is there a better way??

That's one way of doing it since the search can do partial matches. A textarea field would also work. Even comma separated list would work.

If I use a text area... Is there a different if I use a Space between each word or comma seperated??? I would think if would be the same.

It probably won't matter if the query is using LIKE with wildcards as it'll try to partially match the search criteria to the value supplied. This will work with a userlist and the simple any or advanced search modes. No idea if it'll work with Joomla search and the search bot.
