Hi,
I have a site where there are 4 levels of subscriptions for people: Student, Individual, Family, Lifetime. If you buy one of these subscriptions you should be able to upgrade to a higher priced subscription.
There is also an organizational level subscription. If you buy this subscription the other subscriptions above shouldn't show up as upgrade options. The price of this plan is in the middle of the pricing of the above plans. So only show higher priced plans doesn't work.
When you purchase any of the above memberships you should also be able to add a donation.
When you renew your membership you should be able to add a donation to the renewal.
When you purchase a subscription, you get a "Member" User group added to your User Group, so you can view content for Members only.
When your subscription expires, you just become a normal Registered user and can view Registered content, but not Member content. Setting "Subscribers User access level settings" User Group to Member takes care of this requirement.
I have the registration currently so it shows the various subscriptions that you can choose as well as a donation amount. That seems to work well.
But when your subscription expires, you can re-activate your current subscription or upgrade to one of the other plans. But the donation plan is showing up as an upgrade plan option rather than an add-on to your current renewal or upgrade. Also the Association Plan is showing as an upgrade option.
Currently I have all the plans set as Not Exclusive, Allow new subscriptions, Allow registration, Allow upgrade to this and none as Default.
I read over the Use cases in the documentation for CB Subs but didn't find anything like what I need above.
How would I setup my plans in order to achieve this functionality?
Thank you for your help.
