Install Issues - was created by nahcc
Have an issue after upgrading from from to professional.

We upgraded the free version this morning to the latest version 2.0, then after this we went ahead and bought the professional version.

Used the install package with the extras all installed to configure then after install my test site.

newfp.nah.cc displays this below

Fatal error: Access level to CBfield_textarea::_fieldEditToHtml() must be public (as in class cbFieldHandler) in <span>/</span>home<span>/</span>nah/public_html/newfp/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbcore/cb.core.php on line 219

we run on cpanel centos 6.4 php 5.4 joomla 3.3

when logging into the backend

and this error t the bottom

Fatal error: Class 'CBLib\Xml\SimpleXMLElement' not found in <span>/</span>home<span>/</span>nah/public_html/newfp/administrator/modules/mod_cbadmin/helper.php on line 306

I have an akeeba backup I am restoring from this morning but if I upgrade again this will obviously occur

Can you advise please.

Thanks

What do you mean professional version? There is no such thing. CB 2.0 is CB 2.0 no matter your subscription. Revert to your backup, upgrade to CB 2.0, then upgrade your plugins in accordance to our compatibility information found below.

Note not all plugins are completely compatible.

Free version? Package all in one version? Please give specific names of the downloads you're installing. We don't have a free and non-free version. CB 2.0 core is always free and is downloaded from the Free downloads section. Sounds like you may have installed CB 1.x over top of CB 2.0.

This screenshot leads me to believe that you directly or indirectly tried to install CB 1.9.1 over an already existing CB 2.0 site.

PLEASE NOTE that anything you download from the CB Packager page is NOT CB 2.0 ready!

So if you try and install it on an already existing CB 2.0 site you will break everything.

Please see this article for recover process you can use:

www.joomlapolis.com/forum/146-general/226772-do-not-try-downgrading-from-cb-20-to-cb-191

And this article to find CB 2.0 compatible add-ons:
