I am new to CB and after your email today I updated to CB 2.0 and got the black image above my profile, what is this how can I get rid of it or replace it with something else.

It's an image field. Users can upload their own canvas image from profile edit. You can also select the default canvas image by editing your Canvas field within CB > Field Management and changing the default to whatever image you like (description of field tells you where to place custom images).
