when I loose the user search in list?

Hi, I don't understand this:
With the userlist I need the user search button.
When I create a new user list and save it without changing anything, I get a userlist with the search button included.
After changing/adding something in colums and saving this, the search button is away.
But I need it.

This seems to me to be a bug!
Please help!

I write this about the cb 2.0 in J2.5.27. In J3 I didnt test it

You need to have searchable fields for it to show search criteria. You then need to click the button to expand the search criteria as it's collapsed by default.

Thank you for your answer,
when I deactivate collapse search, then I get this button not yet.


but:

I have at least 4 searchable fields (viewed in fieldmanager):
firstname, lastname, name and username

but there are only

name and username as searchable fields

EDIT:

I had to choose: "all searchable fields", before there was (as default) something other

not yet. I had to add in sorting "name"


Sorry, I absolutely don't understand.

By default the userlist only shows searchable fields that are displayed on the list. You need to adjust "Searchable fields" as necessary under Parameters > Search.
