[SOLVED] Profile Wall - viewable only by connections

Hi - is there a way to make the Profile Wall only viewable to a user's connections?

If by profile wall you mean the CB Profile wall tab, then the answer is yes using the CB Privacy plugin.

Hi Nick - that looks like exactly what I am after. But I'm struggling to find any documentation for the plugin - do you know if there is any?

If not, perhaps you can offer some assistance? I am trying to make the profile wall tab for all users private, only viewable by a users connections.

It seems when I create a new rule that I need a user ID, so can this only be done one user at at time, rather than having a global rule?

I'm also confused as to what "Privacy entry type" means.

I'm currently on 1.9 with the cbprivacy_211.

Upgrade to CB 1.9.1 and install latest CB 1.9.1 compatible CB Privacy version 3.1.0 from here:
www.joomlapolis.com/downloads/downloads-single-items/doc_download/603-cb-privacy-plugin-version-310-for-cb-191

Once you install this (using the CB PLugin installer) and publish it, you then go to your Profile Wall tab.

You should see 2 extra drop-down parameters in the right column of your tab:

CB Privacy: Tab privacy preferences
Display:
Edit Display:

You should be able to set the first one to "User can control Privacy" and then select the default Connections.
