Problem with CB Connect 5.2.3 with CB 2.0.1

Hi,

I was test installing CB 2.0.1 with CB Connect 2.0.1 and I have this error on my login page

The CB 2.0.1 was installed over CB 1.9.1

Disabling the plugin will remove the extra text.

CB Connect is broken. A rewrite is currently underway. For now turn it off. There is a forum discussion in the advanced area regarding the problem.

Yup, Kyle is in the middle of this rewrite - hoping to see a first release this week (my estimate - not Kyles).

I hope to have CB Connect rewrite done by end of this week. So far only Windows Live ad GitHub logins remain to be upgraded and fully tested. I've the others working again. Once they're all fully functional I can move forward with adding new features. Please see the below to monitor my progress.

Please take care to read the tickets as some feature have been deprecated. For example the social fieldtypes have been removed as they're basically just HTML with a JS library being loaded all of which you can do with a Custom HTML field. Your Field Mapping will also be lost as HybridAuth standardizes the fields making mapping configuration and usage easier so the select options have been adjusted to reflect that.

Thanks for the quick response with all of this. If the other logins are working except for live and github, is there any chance of a beta version so maybe the common ones such as FB may configured. Also if the fields are standardised it may speed up the process at our end when a RC version is released. (Not that we would want to rush you - don't know how to insert smiley))

No, getting the social logins working again is just part 1 of the upgrade. Once that's done I can begin implementing additional features and bug fixes as needed. Nightlies are only available for non-rewrite versions as the rewrite code is still very subject to change as I improve it.
