OK, I'm an admitted newbie to the CB subscriptions and working to get a new site ready for production. The owner just subscribed to the Developer level because it included the CBsubs module and almost every other subsystem she could dream of (plus lots of stuff we will never have need of).

So my confusion is related to the Quickstart Pro package but does seem relevant to other modules I've tried to load individually.

1) Is there no way to install these components from the Joomla back end via direct connection to the CB site? Just like the many "free" modules are installed.

I know I must be missing something obvious. I've spent the better part of 3 hours searching and browsing the forums and documentation.

FWIW, from my normal working location I must pay for bandwidth consumed so downloading these packages from CB then re-uploading them to my Joomla host can get expensive real fast. I *thought* I would be able to manage, improve and update my installation via direct Joomla ISP to CB repository. Am I wrong about this?

Any and all tips are appreciated. I love CB so far (with only the freebie package installed until now) and am totally jazzed about adding the capabilities "the boss" is looking for.

Thanks, Ken

You mean through Joomlas "Install from Web"? Pretty sure (never tried) only core CB can be installed through there. Our other plugins are commercial and are not available from "Install from Web".

CB Package Builder is not CB 2.0 ready. Meaning if you use our packager you'll be using CB 1.x. For CB 2.0 you need to download the packages individually. We're still working to get all of our plugins CB 2.0 ready. Once they're done we'll have a new CB Quickstart Pro and up to date CB Package Builder. You can find our compatibility chart below as well as quick download links.

All of our products combined is roughly 11mb. I can't see how that'd hurt any sort of bandwidth limits unless you're downloading all this off a mobile data plan. At any rate no what you're wanting is not available yet, but we've plans for this capability in a future release.
