Select list conditional on other fields

Is there away to limit the choices in a select list based on value of another field?

I want to have a select list depending on what the birth date is. If they were born in 2000 the list displays one list and if they were born in another year the list is different.

You could use CB Conditional to show/hide a different field entirely based off a value, but I'm unsure how well that's going to work with a date field.

that doesn't help as it would require multiple fields. I need to the data to be stored in the same field

CB Conditional has a show/hide feature for select list options, but pretty sure it's bugged right now and will be fixed in its upgrade release for CB 2.0. That's basically your only options unless you want to use CB Query Field and its Query Select field to build its options from database, but that'll require a page reload before it'll update the options to reflect the users change.

Thanks.....yes I found that and from what i can tell it is definitely bugged! If I set only one condition it will but if I ad a second condition the first one doesn't work and only the second one does!

Is there a timeline for the next release that would have this fix? It would really be nice if we can have this in place before we go live in 10 days!

That's not a bug, but intentional. Only the last conditional applied will function. There is no AND/OR usage yet. You can try setting your conditionals to 1 way usage so they won't automatically do their opposite function when the condition fails to match (e.g. if it's set to show options it won't hide them if condition fails).

Nope, when it's done. I'll be starting the CB Conditional upgrade today, but it's unlikely to help your usecase as AND/OR usage still won't be added yet. Very unlikely to be done in next 10 days. Thanksgiving is also next week so will be off/on during it.
