Using Auto Action to Verify Address - SmartyStreets API was created by slboone

After a user registers, I need to verify that the address is within a particular carrier route. I have signed up for a free account with SmartyStreets.com which offers many tools including an API that will validate the address and return the information I need. Big problem is, I have NO idea how to accomplish this. Is there anyone that can point me in the right direction?

You could code a plugin to do exactly what you're wanting or try acting on the after registration trigger with a Code action to execute the API. Sorry, beyond that I don't know what to tell you as I am not familiar with SmartyStreets or their API.
