Starting with a clean cloned copy of our website I have tried to install CB 2.0.3 on a Joomla 2.5.27/CB 1.9.1 setup.

I receive the following warmings/errors:

Warning: Cannot redeclare class moscomprofiler in C<span>:</span><span>\</span>xampp\htdocs\ABSTest2\libraries\CBLib\CB\Legacy\LegacyLoader.php on line 41

Warning: Cannot redeclare class moscomprofilerFields in C<span>:</span><span>\</span>xampp\htdocs\ABSTest2\libraries\CBLib\CB\Legacy\LegacyLoader.php on line 42

Warning: Cannot redeclare class moscomprofilerFieldValues in C<span>:</span><span>\</span>xampp\htdocs\ABSTest2\libraries\CBLib\CB\Legacy\LegacyLoader.php on line 43

Warning: Cannot redeclare class moscomprofilerLists in C<span>:</span><span>\</span>xampp\htdocs\ABSTest2\libraries\CBLib\CB\Legacy\LegacyLoader.php on line 44

Warning: Cannot redeclare class moscomprofilerMember in C<span>:</span><span>\</span>xampp\htdocs\ABSTest2\libraries\CBLib\CB\Legacy\LegacyLoader.php on line 45

Warning: Cannot redeclare class moscomprofilerPlugin in C<span>:</span><span>\</span>xampp\htdocs\ABSTest2\libraries\CBLib\CB\Legacy\LegacyLoader.php on line 46

Warning: Cannot redeclare class moscomprofilerTabs in C<span>:</span><span>\</span>xampp\htdocs\ABSTest2\libraries\CBLib\CB\Legacy\LegacyLoader.php on line 47

Warning: Cannot redeclare class moscomprofilerUser in C<span>:</span><span>\</span>xampp\htdocs\ABSTest2\libraries\CBLib\CB\Legacy\LegacyLoader.php on line 48

Warning: Cannot redeclare class moscomprofilerUserReport in C<span>:</span><span>\</span>xampp\htdocs\ABSTest2\libraries\CBLib\CB\Legacy\LegacyLoader.php on line 49

Fatal error: Call to a member function translateToCurrentLanguage() on a non-object in C<span>:</span><span>\</span>xampp\htdocs\ABSTest2\libraries\CBLib\CBLib\Language\CBTxt.php on line 135

I went back to the previous page and into Tools which showed this message in a red box:

Warning: file C<span>:</span><span>\</span>xampp\htdocs\ABSTest2/administrator/components/com_comprofiler/pluginsfiles.tgz still exists. This is probably due to the fact that first installation step did not complete, or second installation step did not take place. If you are sure that first step has been performed, you need to execute second installation step before using CB. You can do this now by clicking here: please click here to continue next and last installation step.

I'm totally stuck. I don't know what's wrong or how to make the installation work.

Looks like your upgrade failed somehow. Try re-installing 2.0.3 over top of it self. Aside from that revert to a fresh clone of your site, enable debug mode and maximum error reporting, then fix any fatal errors that may already exist before upgrading as they will break the install process.

I re-installed 2.0.3 over the top of itself and it ran fine. Running Tools gave me some DB disparities which I fixed using the supplied link.

Then I installed the updates to my add-ons, ran Tools again, fixed the Add-on issues with the supplied link and CB looks OK. All Tools show green :)

I still have a problem with CB Subs GPL 4.0 but that is for another forum.

Thank you for your help - it's never easy to know when re-installing is the answer.
