What are the implications of upgrading from CB 1.9.1 to CB 2.0 or later after building my website on CB 1.9.1?

My original question via ticket:
>> 3. It appears the 12 addons in CB Quickstart that I downloaded with my professional membership can only work with CB 1.9.1.
>> My website completely blew up (a number of times) when I tried to use CB 2.0.
>> Now I see there is a new CB version and it appears because of those addons I am stuck on CB 1.9.1.
>> As a note, my site says Current Version 1.9.1, Latest Version 1.9.1. which is obviously wrong but I'm not sure how it updates itself.

Response via ticket:
Yes the CB Quickstart PRO package has not been updated for CB 2.0 and it will take us some time to do this.
Once you install CB 2.0 you should not try to downgrade to CB 1.9.1 and of course not try to install the CB Quickstart PRO package as it is not for CB 2.0.

I have already built my website on CB 1.9.1 and the Quickstart PRO package add ons. If I upgrade to 2.0 will all I have already done on 1.9.1 be lost? What will happen to the QUickstart PRO add ons that I already have installed and am already using?

You should be able to upgrade to CB 2.0.3 and then to CB 2.0 compatible add-ons without losing configuration data or user data.

Before upgrading to CB 2.0 take a backup as a precaution.

Hello again. In order to upgrade, do I have to uninstall all of 1.9.1 or just install the 2.0.3 zip file and let it override everything?

If the problem can be solved why worry? If the problem cannot be solved, worrying will do you no good.
