[SOLVED] Modal Terms was created by fundsauce
Typing this for the second time...as for some reason the forum seems to have started defaulting me to the developer section(probably just my computer).

Anyway, I am wanting to use modals for my sites Terms of Service. If I use Modals with Text, it does not format the text but rather squishes it all into one long paragraph without so much as a line break. If I use Modals with a URL, it displays beautifully formatted text, but also a beautifully formatted web page complete with all modules and menus.

How can I use Modals and display formatted text. I watched the video tutorial several times but I must be missing something.

You need to use a raw Joomla URL if you're linking to a Joomla article for example. Append &tmpl=component to the end of your URL.

It should allow formatting fine. You need to use HTML to format it. For a line break for example use the BR tag or paragraph elements for example.
