Hi Joomlapolis,

how do I display the profile picture and "Hi, 'username'" on my site like you have at the top of joomlapolis.com?

Thanks,
Andreas.

Set your login module to display the avatar and the greeting message. This can be enabled by editing your CB login module within Joomla module manager.

Where does one specify the default image for this module? The module only allows to set "Show Avatar" but not which.

The image itself is a field in the CB configuration. In the backend go to Community Builder -> Field Management -> Portrait. There are several settings for it... among which you can chose the default avatar from the images in this folder:
[website root]/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/templates/default/images/avatar

Thanks, but I dont have that "Portrait" field. I only have "avatar" and that does only change the image for the canvas, not for the login module.

I must have renamed the Avatar field to Portrait such a long time ago that I forgot about it, sorry.

You're right about the login module. I don't know if there is an easy fix for it. I ended up creating a resized version of the default avatar and saving that one in the folder mentioned above as the tn**.jpg images, these are the thumbnails used in the login module.
