Hi,

In fact, for searching fields I was talking about the plugin CB search. With so many add-ons, it takes me times to sort out the tools and possibilities.

So back to CB auto.
I am changing my strategy for my users, the import process is too complicated to repeat each year. So now, can you give me your advice on this workflow.
I invite my users to come and create their profiles on the website. By filling up the registration form, they indicate in which classes their children are.
Once registration is over, the user has to be approved by the moderator.
So in Auto action, for each group I create a join group action depending on the value indicated in the cb field "child's classroom". As trigger, I ask for "onDuringLogin, onAfterUserConfirm, onAfterUserApproval, onAfterUserUpdate".
I guess, some triggers are redundant but a user approved this year will change his "child's classroom" field next year. Is this a problem ?
What I don't clearly understand is the part about Access. It's access for what ? Creating a new Auto Action ? For being including in the trigger event ? And what's the difference between Custum ACL and CMS ACL ?

Also, with my poor English, I don't really understand what you mean by "fire off the internal users URL" ?

Thank you

Every parameter has a description of what it does. Access is the access the User must have for the action to fire for them. If it's set to Super Users and a Registered user fires the trigger the action is set to act on then the action will do nothing for them as they're not a Super Users. The custom ACL values are ACL that don't exist in Joomla. Their labels are self explanatory.

Based on the triggers you're acting on if you change the fields value and save the users profile (frontend only as you did not specify the backend trigger) then it'll execute the action.
