I installed the new core field ajax.
I enabled it for avatar field as registrated.
I went in frontend to (my) superadmins profile. Avatar is away!
When I disable that, avatar is back.
Seams to be working fine in CB Core Fields Ajax 2.0.1. The profile image and canvas background can not be ajaxed when in the canvas positions. There's not enough room for the edit display and there's no CSS to force some sort of styling for those positions.
