Everything is working fine on my CB 2.0 tests.

I am using CB version 1.9.1
nothing is happening when I create or change the type of new field . it normally detects the changes of type of new field before saving.
Now I am trying to add more values to a drop down single select field
it's giving only one value when clicking add new values no text field to add in.

Press F12 in Chrome or Firefox then click the add new value button and see if there are any fatal JS errors (they'll be red) present. That button is entirely JS driven, which means if there is a JS error before the buttons JS renders or when the JS is fired it won't work. This has been entirely rewritten in CB 2.x so I'm not sure what to advise you aside for upgrading.
