As explained other more important tasks have my attention at this time. CB Activity 3.0.0 stable is near release and have already started the GJ upgrade. As also stated this likely will not be implemented until we've completely rewritten how our fields work as they are just not designed for the level of duplication that would occur by having their edit display on a userlist.

+100 for AJAX edit on lists.
At least for special Admins and list managers, it is a crucial feature and a second to none time-saver.

You mentioned possible issues with field validation. What about disabling field validation for this purpose? This is already an option for backend profile edit. IMHO, a valid option for quick edits.

Ajax edit on userlist doesn't work because that means dozens of duplicate HTML elements (in the case of image fields they flat out won't work due to this.. same for date fields), which are not valid. It would need to ajax in the ajax edit, which breaks the jQuery validation (now have a method to prevent this.. used in CB Activity), allow edit, then remove the elements when done. In short I have to basically rewrite how CB Core Fields Ajax works. I don't have time for this right now. It's coming, but it's not coming soon.

Sorry folks, but I have to prioritize my time. GJ is being rewritten. When GJ is rewritten I'm taking some time off (been over 2 years, I'm exhausted). When I get back I'll be going through all the existing projects and clearing their tickets (as much as possible) for new releases. I then will be working on new projects (lots of new exciting projects planned).
