Tutorial 21

I am trying to follow tutorial 21 regarding private messaging, I have created everything but I cannot find how to display the Message tab within the profile, I thought that it maybe Quick Message, but perhaps not, any help would be great.

If you want a message box with the Send message button, you need to publish the Quick Message tab in the appropriate position.

Otherwise you will just see the Send Messages -> Send Private Message menu when visiting someone else's profile.

First my I say that the tutorial are very good a great benefit to me a newbie.

I want the Message Tab to appear in the same position as in the tutorial, that is above the canvas and along side the Connections tab. I have looked at the other Tabs, but cannot seem to get it to display.

The default position of the Quick Message tab is Canvas Main Middle and the display type is Nested Tab Menu (that is the tutorial setting also).

That is what I had it set as, but I cannot see it, are there any other settings that I need to be looking at.
Just happened to view the website from the front-end as a members was login and I could see the messages tab, but not on my profile.

Correct - you will only see it when you visit someone else's profile as you cannot send yourself a message.
