override user plugin

Hi, as in title, there is a way to override an user plugin?

No idea what you mean by override a user plugin. Please be more specific as to what you're wanting to do.

No such feature exists or as far as I am aware would be possible unless the plugin was specifically designed with such a feature. The best I can suggest is to customize its appearance using CSS. You could create a new plugin that extends that plugins PHP class then replace whatever functions you want to customize, but at that point you'll probably be making your own plugin entirely depending on how the plugin was developed.

well, ok you choose to use your own plugin system avoiding joomla extension manager, but you should provide an override method.

Layout overrides are planned. Once our XML engine is functional for frontend then frontend will also be XML driven like backend, which will have layout support. This doesn't particular matter for 3rd party plugins that don't utilize it though. Our modules are currently the only things that provide layout support. Plugins can also choose to implement template support like our plugins do (e.g. see CB Blogs, CB Articles, GJ, etc..), which allow for easy overriding.
