userlist 404:: category not found

I have a multi lingual site. In English the CB userlist shows up but in the other language I get "404 category not found" - what category?

The list and the menu item are set to "All languages".

BTW: it is the same for the mandetory profile link.

Sounds like a Joomla content error. Probably from a home page linking to a Joomla article in a category that's not available to the language being used. CB it self has no such error output. GJ can output such an error, but that's only if the GJ category is being accessed directly.

But there is no article involved as far as I can see, the language default item is "Featured Articles" (all categories). The menu item is "CB user list". How could that link to an article? And why would that be different just because the active language is different? All the homepages for the languages are working fine.

I don't know what to tell you. You'll need to find what on the page is trying to output or access an article in a category that can't be accessed. To see if it's a CB plugin try disabling non-core CB plugins 1 by 1 until it goes away, but I can't see how a CB plugin could do this on a userlist.

I found a problem: CB is still loading jquery-migrate.js despite I disabled everything in the config. How do I disable this too?

Don't think the stable 2.0.4 build has the parameter to turn off jQuery migrate. The nightly might. You can find the nightly build at the below link.

Once installed you should see a "jQuery Migrate" parameter within CB > Configuration > Integrations to turn off CBs loading of jQuery Migrate. If you do not have a compatible release of jQuery Migrate loaded then you need to be 100% sure all jQuery on your site is up to date or you're going to have very weird results.
