Coolness GPL 3.0.0 was created by Berilac

Have just downloaded the new version of this template, that is CB2 compatible.

I have had issues installing it "error finding xml".

To solve this issue I had to remove the old version then install the new one, which does seem to work.

Also is there no cb template plugin in the unzipped folder. Is this correct?

Correct - Joomla template now had styling that is used in CB also.
