I was hoping that :
1) it might be possible to require a new user to register in CB before they can submit an enquiry (alternatively, is it possible to do a lookup on the contents of the enquiry form against CB users in the database?)
2) Relevant fields in the form could be auto-completed from the user record.
3) information for the enquiry could be stored in the database.

You could make the contact menu item Registered.
Suggest you experiment with the Joomla contact component functionality and see if you can make it work for you.
