ok fixed.
1 go delete all plugins published and not installed.
2. uninstall all cb mods and comps.
3. go to phpmyadmin and delete all comprofiler tables
4 reinstall cb.

Worked for me... it seems that if cb2.x is installed over 1.9.1 it leaves old tables that do not work with the new version. At least this was the problem in my site.. All is well now...

Ideally, installing CB 2.x over 1.9.x should work, but database fixes need to be run. Did you run these in Community Builder -> Tools when you experienced these problems?

With the wide range of CB 1.x plugins that haven't been maintained there's bound to be issues with a few CB 1.x to CB 2.x upgrades. We strictly only test our plugins. Our test upgrades are first done as clean. Next with all of our plugins intalled. We only address issues found during those tests. 3rd party plugins could cause any number of issues. Unsure if your issue was related to 3rd party plugins, but is just an FYI.

Thank you for providing your solution.
