[SOLVED] CB Login form - Account Registration Link - Skips Payplans Plan Selection

Hi There,

I am using Payplans with a community builder set up and have set the ´Registration Integration´to Community Builder. I am also using the CB login and not the Joomla Login.

Problem:
Under the login form one has the option to ´create an account´ or ´register´, however, when I click that link it takes me directly to CB registration page, where is, it should first take me to the available payplans payment plan options.

This works with the Joomla Login Form -> Create Account, but this login form doesn´t redirect you to your CB profile page.

How can I change/fix that?

I have found a work around to this issue, however, I would still like to know how this can be done from the CB Login.

What I did is:

1. Remove the CB login menu completely
2. Added a Joomla Login menu
3. Installed the free login redirect Component ( www.pages-and-items.com/extensions/redirect-on-login )
4. Configured the Component -> Tab: config -> based on user groups & Tab: All users -> Menu Item -> CB Profile

It works like a dream - but this should be possible in the CB Login!?

We have no integration with Payplan. I've no idea what Payplan is in fact. You'll need to discuss with Payplan the best course of action. If you're using CB you must use CBs login and CBs registration. All other login and registration methods are incompatible. CBs login module links are going to exactly where they're supposed to go. How your extension integrates from there is up to the extension developer.

As I've no idea how they integrate their extension with CB there's not much I can really suggest. You could shut off the registration link within your CB Login module under "Login Options" then within "Login Post-text" you can supply custom HTML to link to your Payplan page. Example as follows.

Your solution is just using Joomlas login module. CB has built in login/logout redirect feature, which can be configured in your CB Login module, but your original post says you want to change where the registration link goes.

Thank you for your help. I tested your suggestion, however, that simply sets where I am redirected to after logging in, but still doesn´t redirect me to Payplans plan options first - you should know about Payplans, It´s a great extension.

I will ask the payplans support.

If you're wanting to send the user to PayPlans before going to CB registration then you can just replace the registration link display as instructed in my above reply by using the post-text parameter for the login options of your login module and have it link directly to PayPlans.

I must apologize, I confused the Login Redirection field with the Post text field.

I followed your instructions again, using the correct fields and it worked like a dream!

You are also right, one must use the CB Login otherwise certain features in CB cannot be accessed.
