Problems HTML Emails Welcome and Confirm was created by nikomed

Hi,

I activated in the core code HTML of Welcome and Confirm in:

setting $mode to 1 of the function sendFromSystem in the following file.

administrator/components/com_comprofiler/comprofiler.class.php

all ok .

But in about three months , very few users have reported that the email they receive no HTML format , all in plain text .

I have some emails forwarded , and I see nothing wrong with the email , except for that everything is in plain text.

What is happening?

We do not support core edits. So I can't advise you what may or may not break as a result of your change. With CB 2.x you don't need to touch the core code to enable HTML in Welcome/Pending emails as there's now a parameter to enable this in CB > Configuration > Registration. With that said some mail servers may strip the HTML or block it temporarily and ask if they'd like to see HTML.
