Cannot paste into blog was created by lccc
I am trying to set up CB blog on my site. Many of our members create their text somewhere else, such as in MS Word  , and then paste it in.

I cannot paste anything into the blog field. I can paste into the "Title" field however.

Also can I get rid of most of the red tabs below the field such as "Insert Code, Module, etc)
Our members are not joomla or tech savy people.

CB has no control over how the editor functions. It simply calls Joomla API and renders whatever Joomla returns. You can configure what editor your site uses within Joomla global configuration. I recommend JCE as it has much better control of the editors display. The buttons below the editor are the editor buttons, which can be disabled in Extensions > Plugin Manager.

I am using JCE Editor & I have a superuser profile and a lesser profile for "Choir Members". I found I could paste in superuser profile and found the difference was when selecting "components" (superuser version had "all selected".

I experimented and found that if I enabled ONLY COMPROFILER I could not paste when logged in as "Choir Member". However I do not remember what comprofiler is and the text area now looks extended. (image attached) How do I make text area normal?

Also about the editor buttons - exactly where do I go to disable them?

More info - I can paste ok if I change editor to tinymce BUT I DONT LIKE IT - JCE BETTER!
How do I make jce work? Or is there some way to have tinymce work ONLY ON THE BLOG PAGE?

Please note that most of your questions are really Joomla/JCE related and the only reason I personally can address these is that I have some relevant experience in both matters.

Regarding JCE support questions your best bet is to post on their support forums for assistance. Something must be wrong with the way you have configured the JCE user profiles that must be causing this.

Regarding tour wide editor area, I believe you need to manually move some of the first row icons to a second or third row so the editor can properly resize itself.

Regarding the buttons below the editor you need to identify the relevant Joomla plugins type editor-xtd and configure/unpublish them as needed.

Thank you - One more question.

Is there a way to add text directly below "Create Blog" title or at the bottom of the page - like insert some a custom text module?

Or add a link to a pop-up. I want to put some instructions on pages such as "don't forget to pushing your blog" etc/

Only way to add more HTML to the blogs edit display is to edit is template file and add it to the output. You can find the blog edit template file below.

components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbblogs/templates/default/blog_edit.php

I however do not recommend modifying the default template. Instead copy the folder, rename it to a new template folder (e.g. my_template), then delete everything except blog_edit.php and index.html. Now within CB Blogs > Parameters select your template. CB Blogs will then use your template for any files it contains and fallback to default as needed. This prevents your changes from being lost when updating CB. Now modify your templates blog_edit.php as needed.
