Showing expandable list in a user profile

Hi,
we would like to show on the profile a list that is generated by a SQL query.
Use case: A mountain bike community, where members have multiple bikes, each of a different type(Xcountry, allMountain, Downhill,...). Some have one bike, others have many.
Thanks,
Andreas.

Hi, please add which Joomla and CB versions you are using. That makes it easier for the experts to point out what you need to do ;-)

Ideally you should create a new CB plugin to provide this functionality. This way you'd have a New button for them to add as many as you'd like, fully coded form, and tab with list display similar to how CB Invites or CB Blogs behaves (could even be used as a starting point).

One alternative is creating multiple groups of fields within CB > Field Management so they can supply a predefined number of bikes. You could then let CB display them as normal fields on profile or you could use a Custom HTML field and substitute in those groups of fields in whatever format you'd like using HTML.

Another alternative is to use a 3rd party form extension like RS Forms to handle the bike form and storage. Next you'd use CB Query Field and its multiple row output to query for the form data of the user, which can then display it on profile as a field.
