Members list for public viewing - list is empty was created by wag

Hi,
i searched the site/faq/getting started but found no solution.

i have a bunch of registered members. I have them in a meber list.
I have a menu link linked to that member list.

If i login on the frontend i am able to view the members list with all detail.
If i am not logged in to the frontend the members list is shown, but it is all empty.

I think i setup all parameters to "public" but it still only shows a empty members list.
Any idea what's wrong?

Edit your userlist and ensure you've selected the appropriate usergroups of users to be displayed on the userlist. Next ensure you've added fields to your columns. The fields need to be accessible to the user so ensure they're on a public and published tab.
