I was wondering if it would be possible to not have tabs on profile but to have tabs on profile edit?
I think tabs on profile edit are good to structure the content nicer and make it easier for a user to actually change profile related things. However on the profile itself I would rather display the content of the tabs below each other - without tabs - and only with e.g. some distance between the content.
Edit your tabs, change their positions to "Main area (below left/middle/right)", then change their displays to "Div with Title" and you won't have tabs in profile view. The display only affects profile view. Profile edit can be tabbed or flat only and is controlled by the layout within CB > Configuration > User Profile.
