Is it possible now with Ajax Fields to create two drop down related using a field "Query Drop Down"?
Example: DropDown1 and DropDown2

DropDown2: select country from table where state = DropDown1
Thanks.

No, it is not ajax based. Changing the value of 1 field will not force an HTML update of another. You'd need a page load between the two for that to work.

Is it possible to implement a new Plugin or add in a future version of CB Conditional
or even better implement it in the query field, something of this type (see demo):

www.91weblessons.com/php-ajax-country-state-city-drop-down/

roshanbh.com.np/2008/01/populate-triple-drop-down-list-change-options-value-from-database-using-ajax-and-php.html

www.infotuts.com/cascaded-dropdown-jquery-ajax-php/

When you have a lot of data to be filtered becomes very convenient.
Thank You.

+1

I'll take this opportunity to post this CB Plugin. It's described here: www.joomlapolis.com/cb-solutions/directory/community-building/profiles/cb-country-and-state-dropdown-fields

The developer website does not list the plugin anymore and my e-mails asking whether it will be updated have not been answered.
The license for the plugin allows further distribution, so that's what I'm doing here in the hopes that it helps others.

It worked very well with Joomla 1.5 and CB 1.x. Since migrating to Joomla 3.x and CB 2.x the basic functionality still works (i.e. letting the user pick country and state and displaying these fields), but searching the field in user lists is not functional (drop-downs are not populated).
Some minor issues with wrong flags and missing countries also need to be addressed.

As pasquale1980 suggests, having this functionality in the CB core would be very useful for a lot of users. However, if anyone is able and willing to fix this plugin, it could be a great solution for the time being.

Sorry for hijacking your thread ;-)

Yes, it's possible. Such a plugin is on my list of future new Professional plugins to develop (this list is quite long now). I've no idea when I'll get to it though. Initially it was planned to be a part of CB Conditional, but it's two completely different usages so it'll be its own plugin.
