Hi all,
I'm running CB 2.0.5 on Joomla! 3.3.6 and I have a problem with user searching.
A month ago I've started making my first tests with a 2.5 Joomla! and 1.9.1 CB and, without doing anything but making searchable some specific fields, search module worked fine with user profiles.
Now I'm working on a website, with both Joomla! and CB up to date, and when I use the search module it doesn't show the users profiles. If I input the name of one of the registered users, for example, it returns 0 results. This happens both when I'm logged in that when I'm not.
I have 2 users registered for tests, they appears both in CB and Joomla! user list, so I guess that registration worked fine. I've made searchable some fields (such as first and last name). I've installed CB Searchbot plugin too, but nothing.
I'm sure I've made some basic mistakes, but I'm a newbie in CB and I'm still learning it.
Thank you in advance!
There was a bug with an earlier release of CB Search Bot. Ensure it's a search plugin and not a system or content plugin. If it's a system or content plugin then uninstall it and download latest CB Search Bot 2.0.2. Next ensure it has been enabled and you've selected in it your various fields to search on. Once done ensure you're using a Joomla search module and not a smart search module as it does not work with smart search.

Thank you Krileon, it worked!
Actually it was a bug in CB Searchbot 2.0.0 that caused the problem.
Despite Joomla! considered it as a search plugin (not system or content), its "Fields" field in "Search" tab didn't allow me to select wich field to search on. After clicking on it nothing happened and writing in it and saving didn't change nothing, it remained blank. So I uninstalled it and installed the latest version and now it let me choose wich field to search on and everything works fine.
