request connection doesn't work was created by kosmos_
Hi jPolice.

When i open user's profile and click on the green button 'request connection' i don't see anything.
It looks like grey background and no dialog. It depends on the link maybe. With english names users it's ok, with russian is not.

Joomla version? CB version? Do you have "Notification Method" configured in CB > Configuration > Notifications? If so try setting it to "None" to suppress the message dialog as there could be an escaping issue due to your Russian usernames causing the jQuery to fail.

joomla 3.3.6, cb 2.0.5, set notification on 'None' and it works. But how user can understand if somebody wants to be a friend?

Please enable notification method again, but turn SEF off and see if issue persists. This will help determine if the issue is due to the SEF URLs escaping or not.

the same, it looks like no popup window with dialog, or something wrong with template. If i ask request with one user i will see half popup window on the button, with another user i don't see popup window at all.

Please provide a username that's causing this issue (you can make one up as long as it causes this issue).
