CBSUBS : impossible to upgrade : Upgraded to higher plan

9 years 8 months ago #258532 by siwayjoomla
Hi Everyone,
With CBsubs : 4 plans, free, low (10€/month - 1 year), middle (20€/month - 1 year), high (30€/month - 1 year).
Plans are exlusive, all child of root, upgrade to higher is allowed.

I have problems with users :
- had a high membership
- then bought a low one

For those one, they cannot upgrade until I manually delete the old higher membersihps.

In the back-end message is :
Upgraded to higher plan on [date]

After deleting the old "higher" subscriptions, It is OK they can update.

The point here is that it seems that those subscriptions are always closed with status "upgraded to other".
And (but how is it possible?) it seems that the user "upgraded" from high to low.

Do you have already had this kind of issue ?

Thank you,
Nicolas

They wouldn't be upgrading to the higher priced plan in that scenario, but they'd be renewing. Once their current subscription is expired or cancelled they should have no issues with renewing to the higher priced plan. This all assumes you allow renewals though.
