Avatar-Image In Menu

Avatar-Image In Menu was created by avateamcom
Hello,

I want to use the avatar-Image as a Main Image-Item-Title instead of the text-title.
substitution with userfield avatar doesn't work unfortunately.

-> logged in user shall recognize his user-menu throughout his avatar-image:

[menuitem1] [menuitem2] [avatar-image] [menuitem4]

It could be a possibility to set the avatar-image as an item-icon, too.

[menuitem1] [menuitem2] [avatar-image menuitem3] [menuitem4]

Maybe anyone else has an idea? :)

Thanks a lot!!

Best regards, Stefan

Sorry, don't understand what you're wanting. You want it as the page title on profile? If possible please provide a screenshot with annotations of what you're wanting as having a hard time understanding what you're wanting.

Hi Kyle,

okay, you're right, it was not very well explained. Sorry!
I attached an image which explains it even better, I hope.. :)

The user-menu (here "Paula Maier") is a drop-down-menu. It is a separate module in the top-area. The other menu-items left-handed are from another module, not needed here. So the user-menu has one root-item and the other menu-items are shown by hovering the name (/or Image /or image-name-combination). Please see attachment.

I was wondering, if I can show the user-avatar up there. I already tried to replace the item-title with [cb:userfield field="avatar" reason="list"/], but unfortunately it didn't work.

Thank you for your help!

Greetz, Stefan

If that location processes substitutions then yes. If it's just a module position then you can use the CB Content Module in that position and substitutions to substitute in the avatar.

Hello Kyle,

thank you for your answer. How can I knwo if this location processes substitutions? Can I "tell this location" to do that somehow? Its a RokMenu-Module...

Best regards,
Stefan

In that case no it probably does not process substitutions. The module would need to run its content through our substitution API. So what you're wanting can't be done without modifications to that module or somehow using a CB Content module there instead. If the module passes its content through Joomla content plugins then CB Content Bot may allow substitutions there, but it's doubtful it does.
