CB Gallery Options

Hello everyone!

I am just wondering if there are options or plans for me to be able to customize galleries in certain ways. For example, having Galleries that can only be viewed by certain groups.

IE:
Photo Gallery: 32 Images

Groups:
Guest
Family
Friends
Co-Workers



Lets say that of the 32, I want guests to see 0, Friends and Family to see all 32 and Co-Workers to see 10, Would this be possible from the same gallery?

Also, is it possible to make an image thumbnail into a link? Let's say I wanted a specific image to rather than opening the full image, take you to another part of the site instead? I am in the very early stages of putting my site together, but very excited and hopefully I can do these things!

It's planned for CB Privacy to be able to extend CB Gallery and add privacy controls per item and per folder. In your case you'd just be protecting the entry with connection type privacy rule. In short, yes it's planned.

No, it's a photo gallery and not a link gallery so that's not possible. You'd have to modify the photos template file and hardcode this in. The template files can be found at the below location.
