Dear Sir/Madam

I am currently experiencing diffuclties with the AntiSpam plugin in CB. First some information:

Joomla: 3.4.0.
php: 5.3.27
antispam: 2.0.0.CI.2015.03.01.18.25.45.8.C.62.F.191.D

I have the antispam configured to use the reCaptcha from google.
I have entered the site key and the secret key.
The reCaptcha shows up when registering.

reCapthca even shows the green indicator showing i have entered it correctly and that i am not a robot. But when submitting the form it gives the following error:

Captcha : Invalid Captcha Code

What i have done to resolve the issue:
- Disable the Honeypot
- Disable the Auto Block in Captcha menu
- Checked if my IP was blocked
- Disable the Block in all tabs of registration
- Disabled the Whitelist in the General Tab
- Disabled the Attempts in the General Tab

Currently I am out of ideas how to fix this. Could you please help me?

Appears to be working fine in my tests. Do you have caching enabled? If you do please disable and purge all caching and retest. Does the regular captcha code mode also give this same issue or just reCaptcha mode?

Caching is disabled. I have purged all cache and it still gives me the same error.

The internal captcha does not reproduce the problem and works as it should.
But I like the reCaptcha a lot better than the internal one.

I have just double checked the secret key and the site key but those are accurate.

Any other suggestions?

Enable debug mode and maximum error reporting in Joomla global configuration. Then try again and check server error log once done to see if any errors are present. My guess is the HTTP request to Googles API endpoint is failing for whatever reason.

Okay thanks for the new input :D

The debugging show the following error:
Warning: json_decode() expects at most 3 parameters, 4 given in /home/icare/domains/icareclan.nl/public_html/libraries/CBLib/GuzzleHttp/functions.php on line 309

Secondly, I have turned on all the debugging and max error reporting but I have no clue where to look in the error.php because it only shows failed logins and some error about an empty password not being allowed.

Honestly I hope the warning that is given tells you all that you need to know, because I am not familiar with the debugging mode and the max error reporting.

Please contact your host and have them upgrade you to PHP 5.4 at minimum (recommended 5.4.22 at minimum). Sounds like you're running an older PHP 5.3 release that's missing some features (4 option json_decode introduced in 5.4.0).
