Thanks again.
I also was looking for the way to change the invite subject and body, but couldn't find how to do it, I would appreciate the help on this matter.

I don't plan to send the mass emails YET but look forward to the new notification system in the future.

The email is customized through a language string. You'll need to ensure the English language plugin included with the GJ package is installed. Once installed you can modify its various strings at the below location.

Thanks.

Should I modify the languages directly in this file? Or is there a way to override them?
I tried the cblanguageoverride plugin but didn't seem to work with cbgroupjiveen-gb.

Also, what would be the language string for the inviter's username? I would like to have the inviter's name in the message body if possible.

Thank you.

Yes you can modify them directly. You won't lose your changes unless you install that specific plugin again.

It supports substitutions so you could do [username] to substitute in their username.

The [username] is invitee's username and [user] is invitee's full name based on my test. What would be substitution for the inviter's full name (not the username, sorry for the confusion)?
Thanks.

You can't substitute in the inviters profile data when the invitee is an actual user. It only allows substituting in inviter profile data when sending an invite to a non-registered user. With that sad substitutions support parameters so the below may work by changing the user of the substitute to the viewing user.

[cb:userdata field="name" user="#me" /]

The above uses userdata instead of userfield for raw output. Please see the below tutorial for further substitution usage information.
