Joomla 3.3.6
CB 1.9.1

We have "Require Admin Approval" & "Require Email Confirmation" both set to "No", however the confirmation email is still being sent and the user is not being auto-confirmed. The user account is only confirmed after the confirm link is clicked, as would be expected if "Require Email Confirmation" were set to "Yes".

Do you have CBSubs installed? As CBSubs is able to override the confirmation on a plan by plan basis. Try disabling non-core CB plugins 1 by 1 until the issue goes away to rule out plugin conflict.

Ah, yes! CBSubs! The plan configuration was overriding our CB config settings.

Thanks, that did the trick!
