[SOLVED] CB Author Bot 2.0.0 - Not showing Author name / link in Articles

I'm having an issue with CB Author Bot 2.0.0, in that it will show the author name, as expected in a category list, but when you drill down into the article, it does not show the author name/link.
It just has "Written by" and then blank.

Also, when you look at a given Authors CB profile, it lists all the articles .... there is just no link back to the profile from the article itself.

This is an issue site wide ... not just isolated articles.

Has anyone else experienced this?
Do I just need to flick a switch somewhere?

Ensure the formatname field is set to display on profile. If it is then ensure it's on a published and public tab. getFields API is called on it to retrieve their formatted name so if the field isn't available it won't be able to retrieve it for display.

I've done all that.

formatname field is set to display on "About Me" Tab, which is published and public.
Guests can read that profile Tab when the author name is clicked from the category list.

The problem with the author name not appearing in the articles is still the same.
Is there something in the Articles settings that I need to call the formatname?

Do you have CB Privacy or CB Conditional installed that could be hiding it? Note CB Author Bot is designed for Joomla content only. It has not been tested for any 3rd party content extensions. It appears to be working fine in my tests.

CB Privacy & CB Conditional are installed but UNpublished.

I have played with the article settings "Show Author" and "Link Author" in both global settings and at the article level ...
Show Author: Show
Link Author: No

Still with the same results .... stumped!

update:
I disabled "Content - Community Builder Author" plugin, and the problem still exists.

Must be a joomla or gantry issue.
