I would like my users to enter their birthdate in a date field and then use cb_conditionals to show additional fields if the user is 18 or older. Is this possible?
I have even tried checking for specific date values (e.g. 01/01/200 and 2000-01-01) and none of the conditionals seem to be working on the date field. I can set up conditionals on other field type without any problems.
Date fields store as dates and not as age. So your condition would be against dates formatted like 0000-00-00. The raw format is always SQL formatted, which is what CB Conditional would see and condition against. CB Conditional doesn't have any specific date condition behavior in it so what you're wanting probably isn't doable in a dynamic condition. For example 2015-03-12 > 2000-01-01 doesn't make any sense to jQuery or PHP so it's always just going to fail. You'd need to use an integer or select field that specifically lets them input or select that they're 18 then condition against it.
