Hi
Thanks for nice groupjive interface. I successfully created my forum with groups.
Is there any plugin can be used to provide email to group members. I want to give email sending to members too. For example any member can send a group message to all group members.
I highly appreciate you help.
thanks
Ranil

There's a Group Message feature, but it's not available to group users by default. You can change this within GJ > Configuration > Groups > Messages then adjust "Access" to "Group Users". This will allow a groups users to send a message to all other users in the group. I do not recommend doing this with Email notifications as your site is going to quickly be flagged as spam. Only do this with PMS notifications using UddeIM. For members to contact either other privately you can use PMS (via UddeIM) or the Email Form (see CB Menu bar and its Messages menu item) when visiting the users profile.

Thank you.
I highly appreciate opinion, I find it but did not enable as you recommended.

I installed UddleIM and Kunena.

Please help me to clarify this.

I have created groups in GJ. Is it possible to show these groups in Kunena as groups (or categories)? If so, are users automatically getting rights when they register to a group (I have provide an interface to when they signup)?

Is it possible to send email notification, when a user post/reply a message to a such forum
(is UddleIm configurable to send a message to all )

Thank you
Ranil

GJ creates Kunena categories automatically using the GJ Forum integration included with the GJ package. You need to first get CB and Kunena integrated before getting to that point (see the new premier book and Nicks youtube videos for configuring Kunena for CB). Once done you need to navigate to GJ > Config > Integrations > Forum and ensure it's configured for Kunena correctly (you need to select a parent category for example). Once done run GJ > Tools so it can ask if you want to fix the missing forums (which you'll have if this wasn't setup before creating groups).

Yes, but it has nothing to do with CB. Kunena has a feature to subscribe to a topic or category, which the user will need to do.

Thank you
I configured and works fine and now I am testing.

Sorry, I have another clarification.
I send connection request from one user to another. When I go to manage connection I can see there is pending request. The problem is there is no any visible notification unless user checked the manage connection menu.
is there option to show a message when someone request a connection?

Thank you
Ranil

You can configure this in your CB -> Configuration -> Connections tab.
Notifications parameter.

FYI - suggest you download and read the just released CB Primer Book
