[SOLVED] Hide Contact Info Fields

Folks,

I am running J3.3.6 with CB 1.9.1. I have set a number of fields to not display on the profile in field management. I attached a png file of the field management screen. On my website, I have a menu item that is "Update Your Profile". When someone attempts to Edit their profile, the fields I have told it to not display on the Profile, display. How do I get these fields not to display on Edit your profile?

Hiding profile display of fields does not hide them from profile edit. The only way to hide them from profile edit is use CB Privacy (you'll need to use an archived version for CB 1.x) as it provides a parameter to hide the edit display of a field. The alternative is to use CB 2.x which has a new parameter to control profile edit display.

Thanks for the prompt reply! I'm going to hold on CB 2.0. I plan on upgrading in the next week or so.
