Hi,

I have CB 2.0. When I create a video or audio file field, it lists many types of file formats that users can upload. However, when attempting to upload many of them, for example .avi, .wmv, .mov, .wma, etc., they are not accepted. I have only found that .mp4 works for video and .mp3 works for audio. When other types are selected, it returns the error "Please enter a value with a valid extension." What can I do?

Do the newer releases fix this? I tested upgrading to a newer CB release, but then it is overwriting all my language files and core files I edited, and it messes up my modules on the frontend.

Please help.

Warmly,
Joseph

There was a validation bug that broke the jQuery validation when checking extension. This is fixed in CB 2.0.7. There's also a pending ticket to improve the validation further to match CB Gallery usage, which is more accurate in its checks.
