Hi,

I have 2 main plans Free and Paid (VIP), so far they were available for registration and the users had to choose. The Free plan made the user a member of the Free joomla group and the Free ACL, and the VIP plan made the user a member of the VIP joomla group and the VIP ACL. I'd like to hide all plans from registration, make all new registered users a member of the Free group and ACL, but show them the possibility to upgrade to VIP.

What are the best options please?

I'm wondering if I should make all plans "Allow registration" to "No", but how the new users will be assigned to the Free group and ACL then?

Please advice?

Thank you,
Regards,
ricco

I'm also wondering to make the Free plan default and hide it with css and the Vip plan to "Allow registration" to "No", but I think there is a better way, I just can't guess it now?

Thank you

Ensure both Free and Paid plans are Exclusive. Set the Free plan as the default. Next set the Paid plan to not display on registration. Now ensure the Paid plan allows upgrades. If you don't want the Free plan actually visible on registration then yes you need to hide it with CSS.
