i just wanted to renew my subscription, due to toe 10years sale, to find out, that even with the 50 % sale it will be 25 % more expensive as last year. When did you change pricing?
On the other hand, i thought, there would be a difference in basic pricing for renewal compared to a new customer....
Or do i look at an old version of that page? It tells me to pay 119 EUR with 50 % off, while i paid 95 EUR last year for the same, but with a 20 % coupon.
Given the regular price of EUR 238 a year, you seem to doubled the price, correct?
Am wondering what to do at the moment...

Hi w_e,
We have restructured our offerings. We also
now have 11 previously paid for add-ons included in our free CB
and have dropped our Advanced membership level to simplify our memberships and introduced 3 month and 6 month professional levels. We have changed our base prices to USD in order to protect ourselves against the continuously declining EURO currency (declining since over 12 months now).
So to make a long story short, yes things have changed here and in the Euro-Zone. Entry levels have been lowered (with the introduction of more add-ons for free and lower duration professional subscriptions) and offerings have been adjusted. Yes. increases have also been made and this is why we strive to give existing supporters (past customers) substantial discounts compared to new purchasers (see 10 year celebration as an example).
Our prices also vary daily automatically with official ECB currency exchange rates (this is a feature of CBSubs that we use here to manage memberships here).
What to do ? What's sure and announced to all newsletter subscribers in our today's newsletter, is that the one-month 10 year celebration nears its end, and with that also the very very special celebration renewal discount. Depending on expiration date, it is even possible to renew now a second time for a second year of renewal with that exceptional 10-years celebration renewal discount, which is a big Thank You to all Community Builder supporters.
Thank you too for supporting free and open-source Community Builder with your membership!
