I am using Community Builde 2.x for Joomla 3.4 and was wondering what the best practice is for increasing the field length for the email field on the login for horizontal. I am using bootstrap horizontal. Our site uses email instead of username for login.
I Have Inspected the element and it's seems I need to address username and password input length, Meaning the visible length of the field on the form.
Edit your CB Login module within Extensions > Module Manager and adjust the input length parameters under Login Options as needed. There's 1 for username, password, and secret key (if enabled).

That parameter increases its size. Sorry, I don't understand what you're asking then. If you want the input to have more height then you need to add CSS for it, but adding height to a text input doesn't do much unless you scale the padding properly as well as a text input is a single line input. It's also limited to the space available to the module.
