Require Terms of Use on Registration was created by ksaltman
Hi -

I'm running CB 2.0.7, CBSubs 4.0.0-rc.2 and Joomla 3.4.1.

I am not able to find where I enable requiring agreement to Terms of use on Registration. It doesn't seem to be on the CB->Configurations->Registration tab.

Has it been moved?

TIA

Yes - it is a separate field - please download and read the CB Primer Book.

Ok I have to give just a bit of a pushback on your reply. I did download and have gone through the Primer and frankly 1 reference to a default field 'accepted terms' in a 114 page document doesn't really tell much.

Guess it's my responsibility to figure out that some other posts on this site which reference the Terms of use from the Configuration->Registration options has turned into my having to manage a CB field, turn it on to display only on the registration page and make it required.

More on that, a little documentation on how to use the URL feature to display a Joomla article w/o all the stuff that comes alone with the CB MyCommunity template might be in order, or is the idea to simply have a html document on the website outside of Joomla to be the terms of use document?

The primer is pretty silent on a lot of these things.

The Primer does reference and point to the video tutorials.
