When requesting to make a connection, the private message doesn't display the URL properly

So I have the CB 2.0.7 on Joomla 3.4.1 set to notify a member by email and private message when a connection request is made. The emails appear to be correct and the link to the connection request is valid and clickable in the email. However in the PM to the member the link is un-clickable and is listed as Member Name instead of being a clickable URL you see the actual code. How can it be changed or corrected to be an actual clickable link instead of some code?
