Hello,

For some reason, users no longer get the default pro plan assigned at registration.

I have the following settings in CB Paid Subscriptions -> Global -> Registration settings:

- Show subscription plans at registration: NO
- Allow free registered users (without subscriptions): YES
- Create subscriptions also for free lifetime plans: YES

This used to work just fine until some days ago. Users signing up via email would get the one of several plans assigned that is set as the default plan in the Plans section.

For some reason, this no longer works. Users signing up now no longer get a plan assigned at registration. Now, they only get a plan assigned at registration when the above settings are changed are all set to YES:

- Show subscription plans at registration: YES
- Allow free registered users (without subscriptions): YES
- Create subscriptions also for free lifetime plans: YES

Then registered users end up with the default plan assigned.

However, I would really like to not show them the only default plan they'll get assigned at registration (as it used to be).

Question: are there any other CB or CB Subs settings that might interfere with this? And make the successful assignment of the default plan dependent on whether it is shown at signup or not?

I've tried to look at every single setting and tested so many combinations of various settings.

I would really appreciate if anyone has an idea what I need to change to get the default plan assigned to newly registered users also without showing the plans at registration.

Thank you very very much!

You turned off plans functioning at registration globally. The only case that'd work is probably a free lifetime plan marked as default and "Create subscriptions also for free lifetime plans" left as "No", but if you do that the plan won't be able to provide much functionality as it's just acting as the internal free plan. If you need the plan to create a subscription then your usage isn't possible unless you use something like CB Auto Actions to subscribe them to a plan on the after registration trigger.
